Services & Location
I offer single session therapy, short-term and long-term counselling, in-person, online and by telephone. Each session is 60 minutes long.
In-person sessions take place in a comfortable, private room in Charminster, Bournemouth.
I also offer online counselling via Zoom (other platforms available on request). Numerous studies have shown that online counselling can be just as effective as face-to-face, and that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship can also be built online.

That’s perfectly normal. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’ve never had counselling before. I offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where we’ll go at your pace, and you’ll never be asked to share anything you’re not comfortable with.
Are counselling sessions confidential?
Yes. However, there are some important exceptions, such as legal requirements, or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. I also attend regular supervision to ensure safe and ethical practice. In supervision, your privacy is always protected. We can go over these exceptions beforehand (they’re also outlined in the Counselling Contract), so you'll know exactly what to expect.
Where do sessions take place, and how frequent are they?
In-person sessions take place in Charminster, Bournemouth.
The property is easily accessible by bus (m1), and there’s also free street parking outside.
Online sessions are via Zoom.
Telephone sessions are via mobile.
Each session is 60 minutes long, and we can meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly — whatever feels right for you.
How much does each session cost?
Each session is £50
Concessionary rate: £30 for trainee counsellors, students, OAPs and those on a low income — please feel free to ask about availability.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or card.
How many sessions should I have?
This is entirely up to you. Some people come for a short time to focus on something specific, while others choose to stay longer. We’ll talk about what feels right for you during our Intro call.
What if I need to cancel a session?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session fee may apply. I do recognise that emergencies can happen, and I’ll always take this into consideration where possible.
